Job summary

CPB Contractors is seeking a Lift Coordinator to plan, coordinate and oversee crane and lifting operations on a major infrastructure project in Melbourne. You will review lift plans, monitor lifting activities and stop unsafe lifts, reporting to the Project Manager within the project team.

The role requires advanced rigging knowledge, licensing checks, and experience coordinating critical lifts on construction projects. Opportunities across sectors and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience developing and supervising Lift Plans.
• Strong knowledge of crane operations, rigging and lifting risk management.
• Experience coordinating lifting activities on construction, infrastructure or industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise crane and lifting operations.
• Ensure Lift Assessments, Lift Plans, and Lift Studies are completed as required.
• Review and approve lifting documentation to ensure procedural compliance.
• Verify the competency and licensing of operators, riggers, doggers, and lifting supervisors.
• Maintain lifting equipment inspection records and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate permits, engineering reviews, and stakeholder approvals for lifting activities.
