Job summary

Resthaven is seeking compassionate and reliable Home Support Workers to help older people live independently in their homes across the Limestone Coast region, including Littlehampton, Nairne, Hahndorf, Oakbank, Aldgate and surrounding communities. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide in-home assistance, personal care, transport, companionship and wellbeing reporting.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
• Current driver's license.
• Reliable, registered and insured vehicle.
• Flexible availability Monday to Friday.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Domestic assistance including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and laundry.
• Personal care support.
• Transporting clients to appointments, shopping and social outings.
• Providing companionship and social support.
• Monitoring and reporting concerns relating to client wellbeing.
