Job summary

NSW Public Works is part of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and supports local and state government agencies to deliver critical infrastructure initiatives by providing expert advisory, planning, design, project and construction management and associated support services.

Our work spans hospitals, dams, water treatment plants and high schools, building stronger and more connected communities.

Qualifications

• University qualification in architecture, building, project management, civil engineering or similar.
• Experience in project management, construction or design desirable.
• Contract administration experience preferable.
• Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior Project Managers with planning, advisory and delivery of infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to time, cost, quality, safety and environment targets.
• Manage and administer design and construction contracts, including claims evaluation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and support business development activities.
