Job summary

Inner West Council is seeking an Early Childhood Educator with a Certificate III in Children’s Services to support daily operations of the Education and Care Service. You will help plan and implement a caring, safe, and enriching learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, while building strong partnerships with families and colleagues.

You will contribute to programming, developmentally appropriate activities, and compliance with NSW child safety and regulatory requirements,

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Children’s Services (CHC30402 or equivalent).
• Experience with and/or willingness to be an active and collaborative educator with children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
• Knowledge of child development and positive behaviour guidance techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Nominated Supervisor in day-to-day running of the Education and Care Service.
• Contribute to planning, programming and implementation of a safe, caring and enriching learning environment.
