Job summary

Goodstart in Victoria is seeking a Casual Educator to join our network of early childhood services. You will support our centres and children wherever needed, contributing to a safe, inclusive learning environment.

The role emphasizes flexibility, travel between local services, and availability Monday–Friday, 6:30am–6:00pm. ACECQA-qualifications and a current Victoria Working with Children Check are required, with strong commitment to safety and child wellbeing.

Qualifications

• ACE CQA–approved early childhood qualification is required.
• Current Victoria Working with Children Check.
• Willing to travel between local services and have flexible availability Monday–Friday, 6:30am–6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
