Job summary

Goodstart Torquay is seeking a Casual Educator to support our centres and children across shifts Mon–Fri, 6:00am–6:45pm. You will join a friendly team to deliver enriching early learning experiences and uphold high safety and inclusion standards.

Ideal candidates hold an ACECQA approved early childhood qualification, have a current Working with Children Check, and are willing to travel between local services. Casual shifts offer flexibility and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hold an ACECQA approved early childhood qualification.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Willing to travel between local services.
• Flexible availability Monday to Friday 6:00am–6:45pm.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
