Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a dedicated assessor to conduct practical driving tests for licence applicants. You will evaluate driving skills, knowledge of road rules, and safe vehicle operation across varied traffic conditions while delivering high-quality customer service.

The role emphasizes feedback quality, fairness of testing procedures, and alignment with departmental policies. You will also support customers across phone, online and face-to-face channels, driving continuous service

Responsibilities

• Conduct practical driving assessments for applicants, ensuring compliance with Queensland Government standards and road safety regulations.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to candidates and ensure testing procedures are fair and consistent.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of procedures, processes, products and services to deliver government services across multiple channels.
• Assist customers by guiding and referring to the appropriate service channel or location, and complete administrative tasks.
