Job summary

Sapphire Support on the Sunshine Coast is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join a professional, registered NDIS provider. Roles include part-time and casual shifts across SIL & SDA homes and individual supports, with various patterns and a focus on consistent, high-quality support.

Ideal candidates have disability and mental health experience, dementia or cognitive decline experience valued, and hold Certificate III/IV in relevant fields, with First Aid, CPR and NDIS clearances.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability, mental health or complex support environments.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or Disability; nursing or equivalent welcome.
• Current First Aid and CPR; NDIS checks and orientation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supporting personal care, hygiene and daily routines.
• Medication assistance and monitoring.
• Manual handling, mobility support and hoisting.
• Preparing meals and supporting household routines.
• Attending appointments, activities and community outings.
• Providing emotional and psychosocial support.
• Supporting choice, independence and participation in daily life.
• Completing progress notes and documentation.
• Collaborating with other Support Workers and Sapphire's leadership.
