Job summary

Endeavour Foundation is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to assist people with disabilities in Lawnton and surrounding areas. The role covers flexible learning programs, recreation, social activities and community-based supports aligned to NDIS goals.

You will help clients build confidence, independence and practical life skills through diverse activities, from cooking to outings, ensuring a safe, respectful environment and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Availability to work Mon – Wed from 8 am to 3 pm.
• Experience with facilitating programs.
• Good computer skills with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Hold or be willing to obtain Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Driver's License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Help people achieve their NDIS goals by developing daily living skills.
• Assist with personal care where required to meet individual needs.
• Support meal planning, cooking, light cleaning and social outings.
• Assist with daily activities like walking, movies, appointments.
• Help maintain connections with family, friends and services.
