Job summary

Endeavour Foundation is seeking a Disability Support Worker to assist individuals across Bowen Hills with flexible learning programs, recreation and community-based supports aligned to NDIS goals. You will support daily living tasks, promote independence, and encourage social participation in a calm, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include helping with housekeeping, personal care, cooking and community outings, while building confidence and practical life skills.

Qualifications

• Calm, compassionate, professional Disability Support Worker with experience in complex needs and behaviours of concern.
• Ability to provide personal care and daily living support in a safe, respectful environment.
• Willingness to obtain required checks (WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History).

Responsibilities

• Assist people to achieve NDIS goals through daily living skills (housekeeping, personal care, budgeting).
• Support meal planning, cooking, light cleaning and community connection through outings.
• Provide support during daily activities ( walks, movies, appointments).
• Maintain connections with family, friends and services.
• Promote learning, recreation, and social participation in flexible learning programs.
