Job summary

Endeavour Foundation is seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support within our Learning Day Program and Community Access, empowering people with disability to build independence, confidence and connection. Based at our Castle Hills, Sydney site, you will be available for shifts on Weekdays and occasional Weekends (Penalty rates eligible).

You’ll be caring, patient and reliable with strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous but not required.
• Caring, patient and respectful approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Availability to work a range of casual shifts at the Learning Day Program and Community Access.

Job description

As a Disability Support Worker, working within Learning Day Program and Community Access, you’ll provide person-centred support that empowers people with disability to build independence, confidence and connection. In this role you will need to be available for shifts during Weekdays and occasional Weekends (Penalty rates eligible) for community access. This role is located from our Learning and Lifestyle site in Castle Hills, Sydney.

• Availability to work a range of casual shifts at the learning and lifestyle program
• A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous but not required

You will be required to hold or willing to obtain

• Working with Children Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
• First Aid & CPR Certification
• National Criminal History Check (Police Check)
• Australian open Driver’s License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle
