Job summary

Journey Early Learning in Darwin is seeking a Casual Educator to support our Nightcliff and Millner centres across flexible shifts. You’ll join friendly teams dedicated to creating safe, engaging, play-based learning environments for children.

Minimum 4 days per week availability is required. You will work across different age groups, build relationships with children and families, maintain safeguarding standards and contribute to high-quality learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 days’ availability per week.
• Previous early childhood sector experience.
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• National Child Safety Training completed.
• Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Reliable, positive and confident working across different rooms.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support play-based learning experiences across different age groups
• Assist with daily routines and learning environments
• Build positive relationships with children, families and educators
• Maintain high standards of safety, wellbeing and safeguarding
• Be flexible and responsive across both centres
