Job summary

Journey Early Learning Group is seeking a Casual Educator to join our Nightcliff and Millner centres, with a minimum of four days per week. You will support play-based learning across different age groups and help create safe, engaging learning environments for children.

Every day brings variety as you build relationships with children and families, contribute to safeguarding, and work with supportive teams across two centres.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 days per week availability.
• Previous early childhood sector experience preferred.
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• National Child Safety Training completed.
• Reliable, positive and confident across different rooms.
• Passionate about children’s learning and wellbeing.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support play-based learning across age groups.
• Assist with daily routines and learning environments.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and educators.
• Maintain high standards of safety, wellbeing and safeguarding.
• Be flexible and responsive across both centres.
