Qualifications

• WWCC (or willingness to obtain)
• Diploma or Certificate III/IV in Children's Services or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families and colleagues

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing care and supervision for children in line with centre policies.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities supporting physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Support routines and transitions throughout the day, including meals and rest times.
• Build positive relationships with children and families and share observations of progress.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent care and continuity of learning.
• Adapt activities to meet diverse learners’ needs and interests.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work across different age groups and shifts.
