Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare is seeking a Casual Pool Educator to support our Cleveland and Capalaba Long Day Care and Kindy services. You will cover lunch breaks, staff absences and other operational needs, helping ensure high-quality care and education for children.

Shifts are typically from 9:30am to 2:00pm on weekdays, with optional hours in OSHC services. This role is ideal for someone seeking flexible, rewarding work and a pathway back into the sector with supportive teams.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
• ACECQA-approved equivalent; studying towards Certificate III is welcome.
• Experience in Long Day Care or Kindergarten is highly regarded.
• Current Blue Card (WWCC) and relevant first aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support educators across LDC and Kindergarten environments.
• Provide lunch-break cover and float support to ensure smooth operations.
• Help maintain safe, engaging and inclusive learning spaces.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Assist with daily routines and learning experiences.
• Work across Cleveland and Capalaba services as needed.
• Bring enthusiasm, flexibility and teamwork to each shift.
