Job summary

Dysons is seeking a reliable Yard Hand to support our Bundoora depots. The role focuses on maintaining the presentation of the fleet and facilities, performing a range of hands-on tasks in a busy depot environment.

This casual, on-call position primarily offers afternoon shifts and the flexibility to adapt to varying workloads while contributing to a growing transport business.

Qualifications

• Previous similar experience and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Takes pride in maintaining a clean and well-presented environment.
• Able to follow safety procedures and work unsupervised.
• Flexible approach to work and availability.
• Heavy vehicle licence.
• Favourable driving history report.
• Basic computer skills.
• Any mechanical knowledge is also a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and detail buses and coaches to a high standard.
• Refuel vehicles and support fleet readiness.
• Carry out general yard upkeep and maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness of buildings and facilities.
• Assist with basic vehicle safety & pre trip inspection checks.
