Job summary

Veolia ANZ is seeking a dynamic Workshop Supervisor to join our Environmental Services team in Brooklyn, VIC. This hands-on leadership role drives operational excellence, promotes our core values, and inspires a team of skilled professionals across multiple sites.

The successful candidate will oversee HSE performance, vehicle and plant readiness, contractor management, and cross-site coordination across Brooklyn, Geelong and Bendigo workshops.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership to supervise a team.
• Knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership in Health, Environment and Safety management.
• Support the team establishing its purpose, roles, responsibilities and accountabilities.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, plans and procedures.
• Ensure vehicles and plant are available, well maintained and in good working order to meet operational requirements.
• Manage external contractors as required.
• Coordinate team meetings, ensuring actions are clearly allocated, followed up and completed.
• Lead and support a team of mechanics, apprentices and contractors.
• Ensure all administrative requirements are completed accurately, promptly and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Work across the Brooklyn, Geelong and Bendigo workshops.
