Job summary

Busways is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead a depot workshop in Ryde or Willoughby, NSW. You will drive daily maintenance, mentor apprentices, and ensure WHS compliance while coordinating resources to maximise fleet availability.

The role offers in-house leadership development, exposure to BEB and Euro 5/6 tech, and a pathway to higher duties within a team-focused environment. Applicants must hold MVTC and a current Australian driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Hold the relevant trade qualifications (MVTC) essential.
• Experience in a similar role with the same level of responsibilities would be highly regarded.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years working as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rosters and leave planning to support depot maintenance plans and day-to-day operations.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise supply and warranty activities; monitor inventory for timely access to materials.
