Job summary

Strait Link in Melbourne is seeking a motivated and hands-on Logistics Supervisor to support our Port Melbourne on-forwarding and transport logistics operations. This role oversees daily logistics activities across road, rail, and shipping while providing leadership to the scheduling team.

You will supervise scheduling staff, monitor data entry across CBS, Tollworks and Oracle, ensure compliance with fatigue and mass management regulations, and maintain high service standards for customers.

Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics, transport, or fleet operations.
  • Strong understanding of safety and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Confident using logistics and computer-based systems.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support scheduling staff in day-to-day operations.
  • Assist with data entry across CBS, Tollworks, Oracle.
  • Monitor driver timesheets in line with fatigue and mass management regulations.
  • Debrief run sheets and ensure operational accuracy.
  • Provide support across administration, operations, and container control teams when required.
  • Ensure compliance with OHS, Chain of Responsibility, and transport regulations.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership and safe work practices.
  • Deliver high-quality transport services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Tuesday to Saturday role, with flexibility required to meet operational needs.

About the Role
