Job summary

Randstad in Australia is seeking a Logistics Planner to drive fleet utilisation and service delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will plan, route, and allocate daily runs across a busy fleet. You will oversee high-volume, time-critical consignments, coordinating with drivers, operations teams and customers to maintain high DIFOT and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Proven transport allocation experience in high-volume operations.
• Strong knowledge of Sydney geography and traffic patterns.
• Experience with multi-drop delivery planning.
• Excellent driver management and stakeholder liaison skills.
• Proficient using TMS and routing software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate daily consignments across a 20+ vehicle fleet.
• Optimise multi-drop routes across Sydney metro and regional NSW.
• Manage time-critical freight with strict delivery windows.
• Lead driver communications and ensure schedule adherence.
• Monitor DIFOT, missed pickups, and late deliveries.
• Resolve day-to-day operational challenges with agile problem-solving.
• Review consignments and vehicle capacities using the TMS.
