Job summary

The Griffith branch of SIXT Griffith, NSW is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the rental vehicle fleet, ensuring availability, compliance and cost efficiency. The role involves planning, deployment, maintenance scheduling and lifecycle management across the fleet, with a NSW focus and a competitive annual salary of 80k–85k plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in fleet management or related field.
• At least 1 year’s experience managing rental vehicle fleets.
• Experience with fleet management software and GPS/telematics platforms.
• Proven ability to forecast fleet capacity and optimise utilisation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily fleet allocation and vehicle availability to meet reservations.
• Analyse demand, forecasting and categories to optimise fleet capacity and deployment.
• Oversee fleet lifecycle including acquisition, maintenance, inspections and disposal.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimise downtime.
• Coordinate fleet inspections, damage control and repair authorisations.
• Monitor operating costs, budgets and KPI performance to improve profitability.
• Administer fleet management platforms, registers and movement logs for accuracy.
• Monitor KPIs such as utilisation, downtime, maintenance costs and asset performance.
• Coordinate vehicle transfers, turnaround and readiness for bookings.
• Manage relationships with workshops, dealers, insurers and service contractors.
