Job summary

Fremantle Freight and Storage (FFS) in Western Australia is seeking a Fleet Controller to join our Transport Operations team in Kenwick. You will coordinate daily transport activities, allocate vehicles, and work closely with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time and safe deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fleet control, transport, logistics, or similar operational role.
• Strong understanding of transport operations and fleet coordination.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving capability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant transport or logistics systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport operations to ensure service delivery requirements are met
• Allocate vehicles and work to drivers, ensuring efficient use of fleet resources
• Liaise with drivers, customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues
• Monitor and track vehicle movements, deliveries, and transport schedules
• Prepare and maintain accurate operational records and documentation
• Support compliance with company policies, procedures, safety, and transport requirements
