Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Hazelmere WA is seeking a Fleet Controller to plan and coordinate freight movements for ground and rail logistics. You will review volumes, schedule transport and allocate capacity to meet customer and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, allocation, dispatch, coordination or a similar operational role.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Experience in transport, logistics or a similar operational environment will be highly regarded.

YOUR ROLE

The Fleet Controller in our Ground and Rail division at Hazelmere WA is responsible for planning and coordinating freight movements to ensure freight is delivered safely, efficiently and on time. In this role you'll review upcoming volumes, schedule transport requirements and allocate available capacity to meet customer and operational needs.

You'll work closely with depots, transport providers and internal teams to keep freight moving and respond to changing operational requirements.

This role generally works 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Sunday to Thursday, with some flexibility required based on freight volumes and operational requirements. This role includes an additional premium allowance in recognition of the regular Sunday work.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

• Plan and schedule freight movements up to a week in advance.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're looking for someone with experience in scheduling, allocation, dispatch, coordination or a similar operational role.

Ideally, you will have:

• Strong planning and organisational skills
• The ability to manage changing priorities
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skill.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Experience in transport, logistics, supply chain or a similar operational environment will be highly regarded.

We welcome candidates with scheduling, allocation or coordination experience and will provide training on our operations
