Wellington Shire Council is seeking a self-motivated Fleet and Procurement Officer within the Finance unit in a permanent full-time capacity in Sale, Victoria. You will manage the council's fleet of about 95 vehicles while handling purchasing and tendering activities to keep costs down and services running smoothly.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service, time management and data analysis skills, with strong Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to negotiate

Wellington Shire Council is seeking a self-motivated individual with excellent customer service and time management skills as a Fleet and Procurement Officer within the Finance business unit in a permanent full-time capacity.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and control of Council's fleet of approx. 95 vehicles. Together with a variety of purchasing and tendering activities, you will ensure that the fleet is managed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also assist in procure-to-pay functions including training and projects as required.

You will possess an excellent service ethic and outstanding communication skills, including being heavily customer focused, proactive and familiar with the motor industries sales, service, and repairs. Also procurement functions for a significant diverse organisation.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate how they meet the criteria below:
