Job summary

Sharp & Carter seeks an experienced finance professional to lead asset and capital accounting amid a major ERP transformation in Adelaide. The role sits in a multi-disciplinary team spanning finance, technology and operations, ensuring robust controls and a smooth transition to the new operating model.

You will drive data migration, support SAP S/4HANA activities and manage offshore knowledge transfer while guiding governance and reporting standards across the function.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent) with strong financial accounting experience.
• Experience leading asset/capital accounting in complex ERP transformations.
• Proven ability to work across finance, technology and operations with offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and stand up capital and fixed asset accounting in the new ERP environment.
• Own asset data migration, ensure accuracy and reconciliations.
• Drive UAT and resolve system and data issues
• Develop SOPs, controls and governance for asset accounting
• Coach offshore teams through training and transition activities
• Ensure timely journals, reconciliations and month-end reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise processes and reporting
• Support audits and maintain financial controls
