Job summary

Fortescue is seeking a Fixed Plant Fitter for our Iron Bridge project on Nyamal lands. You will maintain and optimise processing equipment to keep assets operating safely, reliably and efficiently in a collaborative team.

Key duties include maintaining fixed plant assets, performing maintenance on pumps and equipment, and upholding Fortescue's Zero Harm principles and values in daily work. A strong collaborative approach and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate.
• Experience in fixed plant processing environment across dry and wet plant.
• WA Manual Driver's Licence.
• SAP experience -Advantage.
• Experience and familiarity working with pumps.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Collaborative approach and commitment to safe, effective work.

Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue's Iron Bridge project, located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people

Roster: 7 Days / 7 Nights / 14 Days Rest

As a Fixed Plant Fitter at Iron Bridge, you'll play an important role in maintaining and optimising the processing equipment critical to our operations. You'll help keep our assets operating efficiently and reliably while contributing to a safe, collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed plant assets to operational capacity while continually looking for opportunities to improve process efficiency.
• Perform maintenance activities across processing equipment, including pumps and associated fixed plant.
• Work in accordance with Fortescue's Zero Harm principles, processes and procedures.
• Demonstrate behaviours aligned with Fortescue's Values.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, supporting colleagues and shared team goals.
