Job summary

Programmed Energy & Resources is seeking multiple fixed plant electricians to join our major mining partner in the Pilbara on an 8/6 7/7 roster. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults on crushers, screens and conveyors, maintaining motor controls, interpreting electrical drawings and keeping thorough maintenance records.

Requirements include WA electrical licence (unrestricted), and ideally HV switching licence, with proven iron ore fixed plant experience.

Qualifications

• WA electrical licence - Unrestricted is required.
• HV switching licence is highly regarded.
• Fixed plant experience in iron ore operations.
• Electrical fault finding skills.
• Strong troubleshooting ability.
• National Police Clearance valid within 6 months.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Team oriented with ability to work independently.
• Commitment to mining roster under extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair crushers, screens and conveyors within electrical fault finding scope.
• Maintain motor controls and electrical systems on fixed plant equipment.
• Inspect and carry out electrical maintenance on fixed plant equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Coordinate with mechanical trades and supervisors to execute maintenance activities.
