Job summary

State Street in Melbourne is seeking an Associate FIX Analyst to implement, test, certify and support Charles River Network clients. You will work with clients, internal teams and network vendors to sustain high availability and resolve issues under a Follow-the-Sun model.

The role requires a technical BA/BS and FIX administration experience, with prior exposure to trading systems. Periodic after-hours support and on-site customization may be required to ensure reliable service.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a technical or analytical discipline such as computer science, information technology, engineering, science, economics, mathematics, or statistics.
• 1 year experience with FIX administration and/or Buy Side Order Management Software.
• 3 years’ experience in the securities trading industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support team efforts to sustain a five nines level of availability for Charles River Network Clients.
• Coordinate with Clients, internal Charles River colleagues, and network vendors for service-related functions.
• Troubleshooting, support, and resolution as part of a Follow-the-Sun model.
• Configuring and customizing FIX connections.
• Testing and certification of FIX compatibility with brokers.
• Ongoing changes and enhancements.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff.
