Job summary

State Street Corporation in Melbourne seeks an Associate FIX Analyst to implement, test, certify, and resolve issues for Charles River Network clients. You will support a five-nines availability target, coordinate with clients and vendors, configure FIX connections, test broker compatibility, and help with ongoing enhancements.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a technical or analytical discipline (CS/IT/Engineering/Math) required.
• 1 year experience with FIX administration and/or Buy Side Order Management Software (Charles River IMS preferred) or background in portfolio management and trading system applications.
• 3 years’ experience in the securities trading industry preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Aptitude for technical troubleshooting.
• Database software experience.

Responsibilities

• Support team efforts to sustain a five nines level of availability for Charles River Network Clients.
• Coordinate with Clients, internal Charles River colleagues, and network vendor(s) to provide problem troubleshooting, support, and resolution on a Follow-the-Sun model.
• Configure and customize FIX connections.
• Test and certify FIX compatibility with brokers.
• Implement ongoing changes and enhancements.
• Follow departmental procedures to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of service to Charles River Network Clients.
• Ensure all Network Services database information and documentation is accurate and current.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff.
