Job summary

Programmed GO is seeking experienced Fitters & Boilermakers for roles based in Wollongong, NSW. The positions require Cert 3 in Engineering or Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker) and strong mechanical, welding, and diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Cert 3 in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker).
• Fitter: perform mechanical installation and repairs.
• Fitter: modification, commissioning, testing, fault finding and diagnostic.
• Boilermaker: MIG & TIG welding of steel, aluminium & stainless steel.
• Boilermaker: interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installation and repairs.
• Modify, commission, test, fault-find and diagnose systems.
• Weld using MIG & TIG on steel, aluminium and stainless steel.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications.
