Job summary

Sauls Bearings and Engineering – Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to join a small team involved in manufacturing, machining, fitting and assembling, and testing components for a variety of equipment. The role requires MIG and TIG welding experience, the ability to read drawings, and possession of your own tools.

A MR Driver's License is essential with a forklift license preferred; residency is required.

• Must have MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude.
• Attention to detail and quality a must.
• Organised, proactive and reliable.
• Able to operate manual machines.
• Welding experience.
• Must have own tools.
• Good fitting knowledge.
• Workplace induction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing, machining, fitting and assembling, testing parts and components for a variety of equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret documentation and basic detailed drawings.
• Keep the workshop clean.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to work unsupervised and be self-driven.
• Willingness to be diverse and learn new tasks.
• Ability to multitask and maintain fast workmanship with attention to detail.
