Newmont Tanami is a permanent, fly‑in fly‑out role in the Northern Territory, responsible for maintaining and repairing buses, trucks, trailers, forklifts and heavy plant equipment across a world‑class underground operation. You will contribute to site reliability and safety, working within a collaborative team on a challenging, remote site.

The ideal candidate holds a Heavy Commercial Vehicle Fitter qualification (Certificate III), a current HR licence and a forklift ticket, with experience on

Formación

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Commercial Vehicle Fitter (Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle).
• Current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s licence.
• Forklift ticket.
• Experience working on buses, trucks, trailers, forklifts and heavy plant equipment.
• Some post-trade experience and light vehicle mechanical experience are desirable

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and repair site buses, trucks, trailers, forklifts and heavy plant equipment.
• Support the reliability and availability of the site's bus fleet as a primary responsibility.
• Perform maintenance on light vehicles and ancillary equipment as required.
• Operate and work with a diverse range of commercial and heavy vehicle equipment.
• Contribute to safe work practices while working across operational environments.
