Job summary

Komatsu Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Heavy Diesel Fitter to join the Curragh South team. You will perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on our heavy equipment, including 930E-5 trucks, PC7000 excavators and D475 dozers, delivering safe, high-quality service to Komatsu customers.

Role offers 7/7 roster with 12.25-hour rotating shifts at Curragh South, QLD, with drive-in/drive-out transfers. Training and family-friendly benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mobile Plant Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Fitter.
• Experience with 930E-5 trucks, PC7000 excavators and D475 dozers is desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting methodology and attention to detail.
• Strong computer systems skills; familiarity with Komatsu systems desirable.
• Ability to provide high-quality customer service.

The Opportunity

Our Curragh branch is searching for our next Heavy Diesel Fitter. Join our team and play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality service to Komatsu customers.
Your responsibilities will include diagnostics, repairs, and the ongoing maintenance of our heavy equipment, which includes 930E-5 Trucks, PC 7000 Excavators and D475 Dozers. We're looking for a detail-oriented, safety-minded individual with strong technical skills and a drive for excellence.

Annualised Wages: $191,640.95 per year + super
Roster: 7 Days on / 7 Days off, Rotating 12.25-hour shifts
Role Located: Curragh South, QLD (Drive-in/Drive-out with Shuttle bus transfers between camp and site)

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
