Global Defence Solutions (GDS) is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join the Bundamba MRO Team in Queensland. You will inspect, fit, assemble, maintain and overhaul mechanical components across our product range, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

As the GDS Fitter, you will inspect, fit, assemble, maintain, repair and overhaul mechanical components and systems used in a range of GDS products. You will work within the Bundamba MRO Team to help ensure equipment is restored to a safe, serviceable condition and completed to the required technical, quality and customer standards.
This is a full-time permanent position. Regular hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 6:15am–3:30pm, and Friday, 6:15am–12:15pm, with every second Friday off.
You must be prepared to undergo a national police check and pre-employment medical as part of the recruitment process. Due to identified exposure to noise, audiometric testing is mandatory for this position and re-testing is required every two years. You must be an Australian citizen to obtain an Australian Government security clearance.
