Ventia is seeking a Fitness Centre Team Leader to manage the fitness and aquatic facilities at the Australian Defence Force base in the Albury Wodonga Military area. This full-time role involves training and mentoring attendants, ensuring high standards of safety, and delivering health and wellbeing services to Defence personnel daily.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar supervisory role.
• Level 1 First Aid certificate is required.
• Ability to administer oxygen in emergency situations.
• Proven ability to manage rosters and staff performance.
• Respectful and inclusive approach to diverse communities.
• Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the pool and gymnasium.
• Ensure compliance with water quality standards and safety protocols.
• Manage staff rosters.
• Supervise facility users.
• Support Sport and Recreation compliance.
• Ensure lifeguard coverage and safe practices in aquatic areas.
• Lead inspections and enforce site-specific instructions.
• Contribute to a safe, well-maintained environment for all users.
