Job summary

The First Nations Peer Worker role within Neami National’s Community Living Supports (CLS) program brings Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander lived experience into community-based psychosocial support. You will provide culturally responsive, strengths-based peer support to First Nations people accessing CLS supports, walking alongside them with respect for culture, country, family and identity.

We’re seeking two permanent full-time colleagues who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait

Qualifications

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (official qualification)
• Significant experience with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities
• Personal lived/living recovery experience (mental health, trauma, etc.)
• Willingness to share lived experience to support others
