Saltbush Social Enterprises, a Northern Territory not-for-profit, seeks a Trainer to deliver engaging training, mentor learners and develop culturally relevant resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Reporting to the RTO Manager, you will work with the RTO and program teams to ensure training is practical, engaging and reflective of community perspectives, while supporting employment pathways.

You will deliver engaging training, support learners throughout their journey and contribute to the development of culturally relevant training resources. You will also have the opportunity to develop your training skills and work alongside our RTO team to strengthen learning programs that make a real difference in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
You don’t need to have followed a traditional training pathway to be successful in this role. If you have experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, mentoring, supporting employment pathways, facilitating groups, developing resources or sharing knowledge in community, we’d love to hear from you.

You will work closely with our RTO and program teams to ensure our training is practical, engaging and relevant to the communities we work with.
This role is designed for a First Nations person who brings cultural knowledge, community connection and a genuine passion for supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to succeed.
You may come from a training, employment services, mentoring, community services, education, workforce development or similar background. Most importantly, you will bring the ability to build trust, share knowledge and create culturally safe learning environments.
