Job summary

Saltbush Social Enterprises, a Northern Territory not-for-profit, seeks a Trainer to deliver engaging training, mentor learners and develop culturally relevant resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Reporting to the RTO Manager, you will work with the RTO and program teams to ensure training is practical, engaging and reflective of community perspectives, while supporting employment pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring, coaching, and training support in community services or education.
• Ability to deliver accredited training and work within an RTO environment is preferred.
• Commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, culturally safe and strengths-based training.
• Mentor learners throughout their training journey.
• Develop, review and adapt culturally relevant training resources.
• Collaborate with RTO and program teams to ensure practical and relevant learning.
• Maintain accurate learner and training records and travel as needed.
