Job summary

The Restorative Justice Unit in Canberra, ACT Government, is seeking an Indigenous Guidance Partner (IGP) to provide culturally sensitive support to people in the justice system who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. The role focuses on guiding First Nations clients through the justice process, ensuring they feel respected and understood throughout.

Success includes walking with clients as they prepare for RJ conferences, connecting them with additional services, and deepening

Qualifications

• Education/experience in behavioural/social sciences or community support work is desirable.
