Job summary

Charles Sturt University is seeking an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Events and Communications Officer, First Nations, to coordinate university events and support communications for First Nations students and communities.

This full-time, continuing role requires travel and may involve after-hours work. You will work with the First Nations Student Connect to strengthen engagement and celebrate achievement across the university’s diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person with passion for First Nations outcomes.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple activities and manage priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver university events for First Nations communities.
• Support First Nations communications and storytelling to share student and community impact.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure culturally respectful activities.
