Job summary

Knowmore Legal Service is seeking an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Engagement Advisor for our Darwin Office. You will work closely with First Nations survivors to navigate the legal system, supporting them through options and pathways in a culturally safe setting.

The role collaborates with social workers, lawyers and financial counsellors to deliver holistic services and drives community education initiatives for systemic reforms benefiting First Nations people.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
• Ability to navigate legal systems for survivors.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to First Nations survivors as they navigate legal pathways.
• Collaborate with social workers, lawyers, and financial counsellors.
