Job summary

The Buttery, a not-for-profit organisation, invites applications for the First Nations Cultural Strategy and RAP Implementation Coordinator. Based in Coffs Harbour, the role focuses on reconciliation, cultural safety and organisational change to benefit Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

You will report to the CEO and support RAP commitments, policy influence and workforce capability. The position is 35 hours per week with hybrid work between the Coffs Harbour office and remote work,

Qualifications

• Provide high-level cultural advice to the CEO, Executive and Leadership Teams.
• Support implementation, monitoring and reporting of RAP commitments.
• Influence organisational policies, procedures, communications and service improvements.
• Strengthen workforce capability through coaching, mentoring and cultural guidance.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders and organisations.
• Represent The Buttery at relevant interagency meetings, conferences, networks and forums.
• Contribute to organisational strategy, quality improvement and future service development.

• Help drive reconciliation and cultural safety through accountable organisational change.
• Collaborate with leaders to engage respectfully with communities.
