Zusammenfassung

Full Stop Australia is seeking a Community Engagement Lead to drive an Aboriginal-led initiative that supports First Nations frontline workers and NSW communities affected by sexual violence. The role requires a trauma-informed, culturally safe approach and strong collaboration with Aboriginal organisations and services across NSW.

The two-day-per-week, 15-hour contract runs until 30 June 2028, with a hybrid model allowing some work from home.

Qualifikationen

• Identified position for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander woman, who identifies as such by the community.
• Extensive connections with Aboriginal services and communities across NSW.
• Deep understanding of sexual violence and its impact on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, particularly women and children.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and implementation of the initiative with First Nations communities, practitioners and partner organisations.
• Ensure the project remains community-led and culturally grounded.
• Adopt a trauma-informed, non-judgemental and responsive approach within an intersectional feminist framework.
