Australian Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development seeks APS5 Program & Policy Officers for Regional Development, Northern Australia and Local Government. Roles support governance, economic policy, social policy and strategic engagement in Northern Australia.

Offered in Cairns, Darwin, Perth, Townsville with flexible and hybrid work arrangements. Open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants under affirmative measures.

Qualificações

• Ability to prioritise everyday workflows and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn new systems quickly and look for process improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting with program and financial support for NAIF appropriation; maintaining risk registers.
• Gathering data and conducting initial research to support economic and policy initiatives.
• Coordinate logistics for NAMF and external engagement events; assist with agenda papers and materials.
• Manage central intake mailboxes and ministerial/parliamentary workflows; ensure proper records management.
