Charterhouse in Sydney is seeking a Finance Analyst to move from audit into FP&A, providing commercial financial support and management reporting. You will collaborate with global stakeholders to understand performance, deliver insights, and ensure accurate project tracking.

This is a first-mover opportunity into a growing finance function in the CBD. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and delivering actionable financial analysis to drive business performance.

Qualifications

• Looking for first move from Big 4 or Mid-Tier Audit, Business Advisory or Financial Accounting.
• Strong technical accounting foundations but wants a more commercial career.
• Curious and enjoys understanding how a business operates.
• Self-starter who takes ownership and doesn’t wait to be told what to do.
• Excellent communication skills and enjoys building relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across the business and global to provide commercial financial support.
• Prepare monthly management reporting packs plus commentary for the business leaders.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
• Manage month end close for area.
• Deliver financial analysis that helps drive business performance.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities, presenting recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support ad hoc commercial projects and continuous process improvement initiatives.
