Charterhouse in Sydney’s CBD is seeking a Finance Analyst who wants to move from audit or financial accounting into FP&A and commercial finance. This is a rare first‑mover opportunity with ownership of management reporting, commentary, and close collaboration with local and global stakeholders to understand performance.

Qualifications

• Experience moving from Big 4 or mid-tier Audit or Financial Accounting into FP&A/commercial finance.
• Strong technical accounting foundations with a drive towards business partnering.
• Curiosity about how a business operates and how numbers drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across the business to provide commercial financial support.
• Prepare monthly management reporting packs with commentary for leaders.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
• Manage month-end close for the area.
• Deliver financial analysis to drive business performance.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities with recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support ad hoc commercial projects and process improvements.
