With 3+ years of experience and a trade qualification, you will work autonomously within a reliable local manufacturer that values quality and precision. Salary is $80,000–$90,000.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified machinist to Certificate III or higher.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• CNC machining experience with Okuma preferred (setting, operating and programming).
• Experience with SolidWorks/SolidCAM and GD&T.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple CNC machines (milling centers and/or lathes) to produce parts.
• Set up and run machines, select tools and methods.
• Verify components to specs and tolerances (QC).
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Collaborate with team and senior management to meet targets.
