Roc Consulting in Adelaide, SA, AU is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Fitter / Fire Service Technician to join the Adelaide team. The role involves maintenance, testing and minor upgrades on wet fire systems across commercial and industrial sites.

Ideal candidates are trade-qualified Sprinkler Fitters or licensed Plumbers with fire protection experience, capable of fault finding and reading technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Sprinkler Fitter or licensed Plumber with fire protection experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian fire standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to read plans and technical drawings.
• Experience with hydrant and backflow testing.

Responsibilities

• Testing, servicing, and maintenance of sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, and pumpsets.
• Carrying out fault finding, repairs, and troubleshooting across wet fire systems.
• Minor installation and upgrade works as required.
• Completing compliance testing in line with Australian Standards.
• Reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings.
• Completing service documentation and maintaining high safety standards on-site.

Position

Due to ongoing growth, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Sprinkler Fitter / Fire Service Technician to join the Adelaide team.

This position will involve working across a range of commercial and industrial sites throughout Adelaide and surrounding areas, carrying out maintenance, repairs, testing, and minor upgrade works on wet fire systems.

Responsibilities will include:

• Testing, servicing, and maintenance of sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, and pumpsets.
• Carrying out fault finding, repairs, and troubleshooting across wet fire systems.
• Minor installation and upgrade works as required.

Candidate
