Job summary

Ausfire Compliance Services is seeking a diligent field technician to support our growing team across Sydney. You will inspect, service and install fire protection equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and reporting outcomes back to the office.

The role requires independent work, a valid NSW Driver’s Licence, and the ability to travel across Greater Sydney. Police checks will be conducted for successful applicants.

Qualifications

• Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing.
• Previous industry experience is essential.
• Current NSW Driver's Licence
• Police check will be required for the successful applicant.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate must be able to work independently.
• Performing routine servicing of fire safety equipment and completing repairs on defective equipment or installing new equipment.
• Inspecting smoke alarms in residential properties.
• Inspecting and reporting on blind cords, window compliance and water efficiency.
• Completing online reports when visiting properties.
• Communicating with office staff in regard to work completed.
• Travelling between properties all over Sydney and Greater Sydney.
