Job summary

Amentum in Australia is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician to maintain and repair fire suppression systems across the OASIS facilities. You will work within a tight-knit team, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards while delivering reliable life-safety services.

The role requires NICET certification, WHS knowledge, and hands-on experience with wet/dry systems, with an emphasis on preventive maintenance and timely repairs.

Qualifications

• NICET II/III certification for water-based systems inspection and testing.
• Strong understanding of WHS Act and EHS policies & procedures.
• Experience in facility maintenance or similar technical environment.
• Knowledge of electrical infrastructure terminology and equipment.
• Understanding of facilities O&M requirements and equipment functionality.
• Experience with preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and maintain fire sprinklers and related infrastructure per standards.
• Repair and install wet and dry suppression systems and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate life safety system impairments with operations and maintenance teams.
• Maintain current knowledge of facilities equipment and systems.
• Inspect fire extinguishers and ensure readiness.
• Perform other duties as required.
